Here's a simple little badge-style heart with a pin back. It always think of the word "happy" when I think of hearts!
I've always liked hearts and they've been a theme in my life. I've made a ton of little hearts into pins to wear, but it wasn't until just recently that I realized I could make them in this flat badge-style! Up until now, they've always been puffy!
This heart is in colors I love; I think I will wear it on my trip this weekend!

I absolutely adore your heart badges. My question Leslie is how do you make the "happy" lettering? Are using a special pen and a template to make the lettering so nice?

Thanks for your comment Jane! I trace the word onto the fabric using a fine point permanent marker such as Micron, and a light box. I print the word from the computer, so I can choose whatever font and letter size I want.
