The End! (of the alphabet)

Day #153
Hearts #124-125

The last two letters of the alphabet hearts are finally done!  And they just happen to be my initials!

"L" is for Leaves and Ladybugs (and Leslie!):

I started this group of hearts with the letter "Z", so it's appropriate that I end with the letter "A"!

"A" is for Alphabet (and Andersen!):

And...since it's taken me so long to get the the end that you have probably forgotten what the first ones looked like, here they are, all 26 letters together:

I haven't strung them on a garland yet, but when I do I will post it on my other blog, Leslie's Art and Sew.  I will probably add a lot of random hearts to the garland, too; hopefully it will look fun and eclectic!

They look great together, you must be really pleased. Do you have a favourite letter? Thank you for my cloud badge too.

Love your alphabet Leslie! I'm not sure which one is my favourite, they are all so nice.

My son was also watching and he laughed at the Y for yolk! Haha, we agree with you, it certainly looks like an egg. My 5 year old confirmed that!

You did it!! I'll admit, when you first started this project there were some letters I didn't think you could possibly find a fabric for but you managed to figure it out!!

I love it and can't wait to see the garland. What a fantastic project.

Thanks for the comment, Wendie! I'm glad I made your 5-year-old laugh!

Lime--I too am surprised I was able to find a fabric for each letter!

Hi Kay! You are welcome for the cloud badge!

I have several favorites in this group of hearts: A (love the bright colors), K (love the pink and turquoise together), and W (love the two watermelon-y fabrics together). Thanks for asking!
